Called them. Terrible customer service! They said they were not based in the local area and quoted me a ridiculous price for a simple order. DO NOT USE!
I own a florist and relayed an order from one of my local customers to Rose Garden to be delivered in the Loughton area. We paid a total of 50 for an all Lily Handtied Bouquet. Our customer reported that the flowers received were of poor quality and only included one stem of lilies. We called Rose Garden to ask for a refund which we could pass back to our customer. It took them a few minutes to assertain the order we were enquiring about. They then agreed to refund us, but said they would demand the money from the recipient of the flowers instead as compensation. As this was unacceptable to us we refused and refunded the customer ourselves as a good will gesture. When we questioned the unfairness of this 'company policy', we were told that 'this is how we do it in London' and that 'it was like a Pizza, if you eat it you have to pay'. Their manner on the phone was unprofessional and abrasive; their Pizza analogy clearly shows they have no regard for the sentimental value of a floral gift or the effect a sub-standard one has on the recipient, especially considering their proposed solution. I admit to being foolish for trusting them with our order, I strongly suggest you do not repeat my error and trust them with yours.
