We have had a TV unit and a walk in wardrobe fitted by Schmidt Loughton. Michael is extremely helpful and professional. Throughout the design process he was more than happy to make as many changes as we needed to ensure the design was exactly what we wanted and needed. He kept us informed about delivery times and fitting and personally made sure that the materials were delivered on time. Both fitters were very professional and did a fantastic job. The materials used by Schmidt are of very high standard. Were very happy with both purchases and we highly recommend Schmidt.
If you are not interested in reading the full review here is the summary:The quality of the units and installation was second to none, I was not able find anything on par regards quality for the price elsewhere. As for the design, I could not afford everything I wanted but with the help from Cynthia and Michael came up with some ingenious ideas that gave me the design I wanted at the budget I could afford. If there was one thing if asked that I could pick out from the experience.... Even though Cynthia and Michael are quiet obviously busy, they managed to make me feel like I was their only customer and nothing was too much bother.If I was planning to replace my kitchen, Cynthia and Michael at Schmidt Loughton would not be my first call, it would be my only call.________________________________________This review is written after living with the kitchen for 6 months so reflects how I feel after using the kitchen for a while:This was my first Kitchen that I've ever had fitted, my previous one came with the house and to say I was excited and pleased to see the old one go and new one installed was an understatement. However that said I am a methodical person who likes thing just so and has to keep an eye on the budget (unfortunately) I set out looking for the following aspectsQuality, I wanted it to lastDesign, looking for that Wow! Factor that also will stand the test of timeInstallation to be as close to the showroom as this was the 'best' it was going to beAfter sales service, I planned to base this on how I was dealt with during the initial stages but hoping never to need it in anger.Budget, I had to afford it and was on a healthy but strict budget.I knew roughly what I wanted but also was realistic that my budget would not stretch to everything, so working with Michael and Cynthia we tried to get the design I wanted at a price I could afford. Both worked hard on the brief, suggesting solutions to overcome my budgetary constraints and even when visiting a kitchen show, managed to find appliances that met my specific requirements.Throughout the entire process they kept me abreast of development, met with my builder to make sure that the installation went without a hiccup and when they were presented with issues (from the build not the kitchen) managed to deal with them without issue. As a result the installation was completed without any issue.To my surprise, the quality of the installation matched that of the showroom; friends who have kitchens installed mentioned to me that what they had seen in the showroom was not how it ended up in real life, for me this was not the case.Thankfully I've not need the after-sales but I feel assured that if I did based on the amazing support from Cynthia and Michael during the design stages that without hesitation they would address any shortcomings.I honestly can say I am overjoyed with my kitchen and the entire process was stress free as I was left assured that everything could and would be taken car off and it was. My Kitchen is my favourite room now and I can only thank Cynthia, Michael and the team from Schmidt Loughton for their work. I even got new oven gloves as part of the deal.
