It is okay but it has limited number tickets and it closes at 1pm which is not great but it is okay. They know how to take blood without being in pain and they will always treat you with respect. They're all professional at their job. I have been there every year to get my blood test done and I know the staff are responsible , respectful , understanding , professional , sociable , kind and helpful. If they close later than 1pm and no number tickets limit it would be better.

First time coming here.. Im not really used to hospitals or medical centres so I needed a bit of help and advice on the process to get my blood test ..The women at reception was so rude to me and embarrassed me in front of all the other people waiting.. all she needed to do was quietly explain what I needed to do instead of shouting at the top of her voice ( well everybody is waiting you need to take a ticket and take a seat) I didnt care about the fact I had to wait, I kind of expected it , Im not really confident being out in public at the moment due to my condition.. so to be shouted at in front of a room full of people for asking a simple question I think was out of order and for me has ruined my day and my confidence ... I understand maybe your understaffed and having a bad day but some of of us going are through things you possibly couldnt imagine a bit of kindness wouldnt go a miss ...

Part of Whipps Cross Hospital services and Bart's Health. Blood tests for a wide area performed here and also outpatient clinics including cardiac held here. If sent for routine blood test expect to wait 45 minutes for your turn. Appointments made for Warfarin checks and outpatient clinics. Unisex disabled toilet and nappy changing facilities

I think the Forest Medical centre is where most people go in my area to get a blood test. The actual blood test was quick and professional and the wait was reasonable in my opinion. The place itself is a bit run down and looks as if it was built of low quality materials and has a dreary atmosphere which is ok if you are feeling particularly nervous about the blood test. It performs a necessary job for many people.

Although they are "open" until 1 pm, they will stop issuing numbers at 12.30 pm or so, so if you were thinking of going at the very last minute to jump the queue, you will not be seen! The staff are really not friendly at all, sort of rude, so yes, if you can avoid this place, do it.
