If I could give 0 stars to this place I would!!NHS needs a complaint letter from everyone that had bad experiences with this practice. Went there after months ago after a lot of effort to book myself in with a GP because i had a positive pregnancy test. Went to see a female doctor which the only thing she could talk about was contraception when I said I did not wish to have it in that moment in time because first of all I wasn't sure if I was pregnant or not. she done a pregnancy test which was negative ( this around 4 pm in the evening). Turn out I AM now 19 weeks pregnant! was told by my midwife I could of lost a twin at that time! This doctor should of done more for me, If I would of taken the contraception she offered I would of lost both of the baby's. Called today to book an appointment because I am not feeling well for Wednesday and was told i had to call in the day. Ask to book and appointment for my blood tests and with GP for my 24 week and was told I could have the female doctor again or another doctor I never seen before. The lady in the reception basically didnt let me finish speaking and hung up on me. I will change my doctor.
I have been registered here for 11 years and I have never had any occasion to complain. Therefore 5 stars.
Same day appointments always available for children, Dr Larh is amazing and listens to any concerns fully, 100% recommend, I have moved out of the immediate area but still travel to use this service
I am very disappointed with the surgery, I tried arranging a repeat prescription as I usually do, and on this occasion it took them 2 weeks. It was confirmed by the receptionist that it was done, only to find out from the pharmacy (three times) that it had not been! I rang the surgery again only to speak to a rude receptionist who told me "I tell you what why don't you come to the surgery and collect your son's prescription yourself" . I then I asked for a complaint form so she repeated that I should goto the surgery to collect the form. I asked the pharmacist to ring the surgery to find out why my prescription wasn't at the pharmacy. They kindly did this and the response from the surgery was the postage costs too much therefore they're not able to send the original presctiption. I found most of the reception team to be very rude and unhelpful. My son is in long term medication which needs to be managed appropriately to keep him in optimal health. I did not appreciate being made to feel like I was was bothering them or that I didn't want to collect the prescription. I work full time and some. This process took me 2 weeks to solve. I appreciate things are never perfect all the time - but to be spoken to in this underhand and patronising manner is not acceptable. I have changed my surgery as a result and all receptionists/ staff are well mannered and efficient.
I see this has been amended to show the address of the Traps Hill branch though the photo is not that of Traps Hill branch. VERY strange!!! See my photo of the surgery that is actually at 25 Traps Hill.
