She was brilliant throughout the whole process keeping us up to date and it was always a pleasure to deal with her even when there were hiccups along the way. My tenancy agreement was breached and my complaints as a tenant were totally ignored.I have been forced to end my tenancy early and incurred numerous costs.At every level in this company my calls and emails were ignored. They also failed to comply with the Data Protection Act and release fully the data that they held on me.At this stage legal action is my only option. As a tenant, landlord or seller/buyer I would avoid this company. It appears that their interest in you stops once they have your money.
We bought a house from Roffeys (Loughton) and the service and communication was fantastic. We dealt with Christina who was very helpful and proactive. In fact she was the best and only proactive person I dealt with during my selling and buying. She would chase everything up including my own useless solicitors, and if she said she would call you back she would. So forget what you think about estate agents Roffeys seemed refreshingly professional, proactive and most importantly great communication. I only wish I used Roffeys to sell my house.
I was lucky enough to have dealt with Roffeys when I bought my first property. They were an absolute God send! I had dealt with most of the "usual suspects" when it comes to estate agents, and I was left less than impressed by them. However Christina at Roffeys put me completely at ease and made the stress of moving so much more bearable. I was always handled in an extremely friendly and professional manner. Phone calls and emails were always returned/responded to when promised, and I never once felt like I was a nuisance (which is how some other estate agents had made me feel). Being new to buying property I had so many questions/queries/concerns, and Christina always dealt with them patiently and so helpfully. In my opinion, Roffeys went over and above what was expected of them to help me. I'm still in contact with Christina as they also do an after sales service. What a bonus! I would 110% recommend them to anyone wishing to buy or sell property.
