This is the sort of pub I love visiting on a dark and dank Sunday afternoon in the middle of winter. What can be better than a few drinks and a Sunday roast to set you up for the forthcoming working week. A great varied menu and nice friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere.
What an extraordinary beautiful real English pub, Run by old family ways, like the 16th century building it self respect and love.
Great location. Busy with a good atmosphere but the Sunday roast was very poor, especially considering the high prices. Friendly, helpful service, though.
